After a few days in Aldeburgh my girlfriends and I drove to Orford to check out the hype of Pump Street Bakery.
We were heading back to London that day so ordered a selection of items to takeaway.
I had the doughnut, eccles cake, the Tomita raisin loaf, sausage roll, chocolate brownie and pain au chocolat.
The raisin loaf was delicious toasted and slathered in butter later that day, and the doughnut was so pillowy I could easily have eaten quite a few more than the single one I purchased. The chocolate brownie was so-so as was the pain au chocolat.
Would visit again to try their bread next time.
