Having moved into the area recently, we have been delighted to find such a superb restaurant. The food is good, particularly the home made soups and desserts. The service warm and friendly and the view sensational. Better than anything, and despite the urgings of other reviewers on this site, it has retained its character. To modernise it would be to rip the soul out of the place. This brave individuality is all too lacking in the cold interiors and bad accoustics of many modernised restaurants Don't change a thing!
