“Great location for relaxed holiday”
Reviewed September 7, 2018 for a stay in August 2018

Dominique's apartment is very nice decorated and super clean flat. Although located in a small village you find all necessities (bakery, supermarket) in walking distance. This is especially helpful because although corsican distances might not be big travel times are long...
Dominque is a very warm host and communication via the Trip Advisor app was very fast and responsive.
Altogether a great location for a relaxing and authentic corsican holiday.
One advice: Bring some mosquito repellent.

“A little piece of Cap Corse magic”
Reviewed June 11, 2015 for a stay in June 2015

Set in between both coasts of the Cap Corse peninsula, this was a perfect location for my wife and I to see what the North of Corsica has to offer. Just over the hour to reach Luri from Bastia Airport and easy to find. On arrival we were met by Dominique who is warm and friendly and could speak English far better than my French. The Apartment has been furnished and fitted to a high and stylish level, keeping many of the older original features which really works. Kitchen is fully fitted and we was able to cook meals easily. The views from the balcony over the hills and Luri are simply stunning, and a joy to wake up to. There is a large Spar Supermarket just down the road, and at the bottom of the road is a bakery perfect for that fresh bread and croissants. A fantastic week spent here and would return tomorrow.

“Perfect holiday base”
Reviewed May 15, 2015 for a stay in May 2015

Cap Corse the North part of the island is an extraordinary wild and atmospheric place. We felt ideally placed to explore all it had to offer from Luri and from the village of Piazza in particular. Our apartment was a wonderful pairing of the traditional features of an ancient building with contemporary design and convenience.
The highlight of the experience is undoubtedly the terrace which has a commanding view of the village below, the valley, and Elba in the distance. We couldn't think of anything that could improve the apartment and would congratulate Dominique on her taste and design.
We would readily recommend it as a fantastic holiday rental.

“Awesome stay - in every way!”

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of visiting Corsica for the first time. We stayed two weeks - one week in the south and one week in the Cap Corse (north). In the north, we found this wonderful apartment - located on the "finger" of Corsica, about halfway up and halfway between the two coast-sides (close to the small village of A Piazza), making it ideal for exploring this region of the island. The apartment is incredibly quiet (don't let the ringing churchbells bother you - you get used to them and they are a wonderful part of the overall ambiance). The apartment is within walking distance (really, like 2 minutes down the hill) from the amazing boulanger and another 2 minutes walk to two markets/grocery stores), so although you will need a car to explore the area, you will not need a car for basic needs.

Our main reason for visiting Corsica was the hiking, and this rental property was ideal for this - very close to many hiking trails, all close enough to return to our lovely apartment for rest and relaxation. Dominique was wonderful in suggesting possible hiking trails, and even provided a quality trail map for our use while staying in the apartment). Although we are not "beach people" and did not take advantage of the location for this reason, there are ample beaches within a short distance to the apartment. This is also a good location for exploring many of the small villages on Cap Corse - and Bastia is a close drive for a visit, too.

The apartment itself is absolutely perfect - very large and comfortable for a couple and large enough for a family, too. We had everything we needed in the kitchen - easy to prepare our own meals and enjoy them on our (very roomy) terrace. The terrace is great - each apartment has its own private terrace and you don't even see the other tenant spaces (I think there are three rentals in this property?), giving you real privacy. The views are amazing - high up on the hill, you look down over the town to the sea and can even see Elba on a clear day (which was most days for us). The bedroom is very comfortable, the bathroom large and functional, the livingroom a spacious place to stretch out (if you are tired of the terrace, that is). Everything is beautiful - very lovingly restored with period details that really added to our enjoyment. There was nothing at all lacking - we've rented apartments/villas/condos/etc... all over and this one is tops!

One last thing to recommend this place is Dominique herself - she is so helpful, has thought of everything, is available (or not) if you need anything, and her English is great (which, for those of us who do not speak French well is clearly important).

My husband and I both highly, highly recommend a visit to Corsica and a stay in this lovely apartment.
