“Amazing amazing amazing!”
Reviewed November 27, 2016 for a stay in November 2016

Despite raining the entire weekend of our stay. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage.

It is big, beautiful and comfortable with stunning views from every window.

We had some trouble booking the cottage on our end, but communication with Murray was very easy and he was very helpful.

Looking forward to our next visit!!

Thanks again Murray

“Peaceful ,idyllic!”
Reviewed October 27, 2016 for a stay in October 2016

A well equipped property which met the needs of three generations of family. The views from the cottage were spectacular and the area offered lovely walks along the River Wye and through tiny villages. The village pub was a welcome sight at the end of our walks.
The evenings were cosy and spent in the comfy sofas round the wood burner.
We enjoyed a relaxing and enjoyable few days in this gorgeous place.
It is a short drive to Ross on Wye and Hereford, both towns worth a visit.
It is advisable to take some provisions with you as the village shop which is run from the pub has limited stock.
We all agreed that we had chosen well, a perfect place for a family get together.

“great cottage in stunning location”

We had a superb weekend in this lovely cottage. It is without doubt one of the nicest cottages we have stayed in. The views from all the rooms across the river to the countryside beyond are stunning. The cottage itself is well equipped, especially the kitchen. The rooms are well appointed ...you won't need to bring anything other than your suitcase and some breakfast. The locsl pub is a pleasant short stroll away and they serve excellent food.Therr are a lot of steps up to the cottage but they are easy to climb The garden and patio is delightful with lots of places to sit snd enjoy the views.

“Lovely secluded spot in the country”

A lovely secluded location, peaceful, fantastic views - yet close to civilisation.
The weather was a bit hit and miss when we were there, but thats the gamble you take in the UK!
Kids grateful of wifi on the rainy days.

Will be looking to stay again in the summer.

“Everything you could wish for a scenic Xmas celebration with family and friends”
Reviewed January 5, 2016 for a stay in December 2015

Exceptional location. Interesting watching the wildlife and the river flood and retreat. Fortunately the property is located well up the bank so no chance of flooding itself. House is spacious and well equipped for gourmet catering - although as we arranged a supermarket delivery on Xmas eve we struggled a bit with getting everything into a standard fridge and small freezer. Fortunately there is a separate wine fridge which was well used by us. Villagers very friendly and stopped to chat. Would not hesitate to visit again at any time of year.
