It's quite simply a wonderful cottage in great location.
Stone cottage is perfect for two to three fisherman and it's only a stones throw away from the river, which you can view from upon the hill where the cottage is located. Two minutes drive and we were down on the Wye with Stan the man taking care of us and pointing us in the direction Chubb and Barbell.
2km of river bank which you can drive along, £10 for 2 rods from dawn to dusk, does not get any better. We bagged up in early February with fish up to 8lb.
After a hard days fishing it's nice to return to this charming cottage where you can knock up a bit of grub (kitchen has everything you need) or walk 5 minutes to the local for a nice bit of pub food and a Wye Valley ale. Log burner in the winter adds a nice touch and I'm sure it would be very romantic............but not for me with two fishing buddies.
Cottage is reasonably priced and well located for anyone exploring the surrounding area. Have one of those "lets just book it" moments and you won't regret it, the cottage is clean, tidy with real comfy beds. I have already booked up for the summer and another crack at those double figure river fish.
