Stunning view from our bedroom. Excellent accommodation and hosts. We stayed 2 nights and Susie cooked a great meal both nights. We thorougly enjoyed our stay and wished we could have stayed for longer. If you are looking for accommodation in this area you must stay here.

Thank you for your kind support. We were both delighted to have you share our Piece of Paradise and so glad that the weather did not disappoint or the views. We hope you enjoy the rest of your time in New Zealand and very much look forward to you staying again one day.

We stayed at Okiwa Bay Lodge in December 2012 and enjoyed this little piece of paradise very much. The views are stunning and it is just relaxing to sit on the deck and enjoy the sounds. Our room (I think it was number one) was just perfect - very clean and spacious and a view to die for! Susie and Martin are very welcoming hosts interested in making your stay a perfect one. Susie even prepared a lunch box for us when we were going on a boat trip (which they also helped us to organize) and Martin let me in on his secrets about scrambled eggs - the best we have ever had so far! We had a great time at Okiwa and hope we can come back there one day.

We had walked the Queen Charlotte track and our stay at the Okiwa Bay Lodge was a great way to end the trip. The accommodation was extremely high quality and the hosts were excellent. The property is on a hill and has amazing views of the sounds. Food both at dinner and at breakfast was beautiful, with the hosts able to accommodate any allergies. I will be heading back to this beautiful location at the top of the South Island!!

My partner and I had two nights at the Okiwa Bay Lodge over Christmas. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway then this is the perfect place. The rooms are modern and clean and Susie and Martin are very welcoming, a great source of information on the area and local wildlife and prepare lovely home cooked meals. The views of the Queen Charlotte Sound are outstanding and the hot tub is great for relaxing after a day exploring the area.

Christmas was even more special with you both to share with. You were a wonderful contribution to the celebrations and we do hope you will both come again. We can't guarantee the water temperature of the sea but the hot tub will be on!!!!

We stayed here for one night prior to catching an early morning ferry from Picton back to Wellington. We arrived to an array refreshments, fantastic mince pies (coveted by locals), lavender biscuits and assorted savory nibbles. The location gave stunning views over the bay. Our room was spacious and immaculately clean, as was the entire home and grounds. The hosts gave their time and knowledge of the area freely.
We booked the evening meal which was 3 courses with good wine. The quality and presentation of the food was excellent and superb value for money at just $50 per person. Breakfast provded was also exceptional with a wide variety on offer for the 'pickiest' of palets.
We really enjoyed staying here and would highly recommend for short or long stay.
