When booking a holiday, you`re never quite sure if all the blurb and glossy photo`s (taken at clever angles to embellish reality) will ever quite live up to expectations....Well, let me tell you, on this occasion it did, `Just like it say`s on the tin' and more!

Gite was exceptionally well equipped, especially the kitchen. The bedrooms were lovely, beds really `comfy'. Loads of games in the chest for the children, plenty of outside space in the enormous grounds for them to play. It was such a pleasure, sitting on the patio eating our meals overlooking the grounds and beautiful countryside beyond.

The pool was fantastic and much bigger than we expected. Of course, having our two grandchildren, Syd and Isabella in tow, we had the problem of luring them out in order to do some sightseeing.

Kevin and Enid were brilliant, they couldn`t do enough for us with constant supplies of fruit, jams etc. Wednesday soiree`s were a weekly highlight, sat round the table on their terrace with our fellow guests, enjoying food, local wine and playing games. The children absolutely loved it and will long remember those late nights of fun!

This area of the Lot is probably the best we have visited in France, charming Bastide towns, pretty villages, gorgeous countryside, empty roads and the people are very warm and friendly.

We are planning to return next year!

My family and I chose to swop the grey English September for a week in the south of France and had Peyrenegre recommended to us by a friend. The booking was easy and dealt with efficiently despite my having to change arrangements, the directions provided to guide us from the airport could not have been easier to follow.

We were warmly greeted upon our arrival by Enid and Kevin, a lovely couple who took the time to show us around the beautiful gite we stayed in, which was well equipped with provisions and entertainment, the bedrooms were spotlessly clean with beds so comfortable it's a wonder we ever managed to leave the house!

The nearby towns of Marmande and Seyches have some great restaurants with fine examples of the regions local produce and specialties. The people were friendly, helpful and not to put out by my terrible attempts at french. :)

On our last night we had a fantastic evening with our hosts and shared stories over a glass of wine, with a wonderful meal I'll not soon forget.

Fantastic place to relax with your family and friends. 2 separate gites very well maintained.
Pool was warm and clean. The all experience is recommended especially with such nice host as Enid & Kevin. ( I recommend Kevin Pizza !...)
