The location is excellent - near local eateries which serve really nice food, tea plantation is within walking distance where you can take a stroll or even get an ATV ride! The house is very clean and cozy, a nice place for reading and to enjoy the tranquillity of Kampung Terla. You can see the creativity of the host in every corner of the house, from the straw hat lamp shield, pallet bed frames, industrial-looking dining table to the DIY tap in the kitchen sink, this house never ceases to amaze me. On top of that, Bryan is a great host who spend time with his guests and introduce us to good local food and places to go around in Cameron Highland. In short, this is a home away from home where you can relax and enjoy!
We stayed here for two nights to enjoy the Cameron Highlands. It was an absolute unique experience to stay in the village amongst the locals, and in this beautifully designed house. The house is so cool, well kept and has everything you need. Bryan is a fantastic host - very friendly, helpful and ready with tips at any time. I would highly recommend this to anyone especially if you want to stay somewhere different and not in the touristy areas.
Rustic charm, vintage vibes, fresh kampong spirit - Words i'll use to describe the house. Bryan was an excellent host, suggesting eateries and attractions only familiar with the locals. The house was tidy and clean. Location was excellent, peaceful as it was away from the busy main road. Really admire the little creative details for the decor. I felt at home away from home. Will recommend this place to anyone heading to Cameron Highlands.
My family stayed here for 4 days in June and really enjoyed ourselves here.
The house is spotless and looks even better than in the photos. Bryan the host has put in lovely touches all around, from clogs of various sizes which we had great fun clomping around in, to an antique sewing machine and an old school larder with retro kitchen appliances.
Bryan is also amazing and fun and incredibly accommodating and his enthusiasm for his hometown really shines through. We stayed in a more touristy part of Cameron Highlands before moving to this apartment and really enjoyed experiencing life in the kampung - by our last day there we had the aunties and uncles in the neighbourhood coffeeshop cooing over our photos of our trek to see the Rafflesia flower (also arranged by Bryan through his amazing network of friends!).
I stayed here for two nights and I was really pleased. The service provided by #WogoxetteUpstairs is personal, genuine and heartfelt. The host (Bryan) has a spirit of kindness as he cares for his guests. Nestled in between the homes of locals, Bryan shares his childhood home and provides a retreat for those looking to hide away from the city bustle. This locally built home has been refurbished with a fusion of western and Asian retro decor. It is comfortable, homely and very clean. Bryan grew up in the town of Kuala Terla and knows the best food haunts, tea cafes and fruit farms. His recommendations are always on the mark. This is definitely my first choice if I am heading to Camerons again.
