“Large, comfy beds and hot shower.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 16, 2013

I think this hotel has nicer rooms as we seem to be annexed in a separate building to the main hotel. Rooms were clean, hot showers were great and much needed as The Cameron Highlands are cold, dank and wet. Everything was damp when we left, that's not the hotel's fault though. The staff weren't too friendly, it seemed very corporate and sterile. I agree with a previous review that WIFI in the rooms would greatly improve the overall traveller experience as we seemed to spend ages down in the very cold lobby organising onward travel details because no Wifi in the room. There didn't seem to be too much choice in Tanah Rata for a 'mid-range' budget, so we did pay more than we wanted here.

lovely hotel in a great location, the staff are nice and the breakfast is good, the bed is massive and very comfortable, room is huge and the shower is brilliant - I never wanted to get out of it! only small drawback is that wifi is only available in the lobby and not in the rooms.

This is hotel is located at good location which is a far away from crowd compared to Brinchang area. You can go to nearest shop Starbucks, Marrybrown, travel agent, food court by walking 5minutes. However, there is no air conditioning system inside the room. From my opinion, there should put a air conditioner because sometimes it is very hot especially during day time.

Another problem is parking. When you visiting cameron highland during peak time you will find it is hard to find a parking and it is not enough. Other than than is good.

Room Tip: Choose a room that facing front of the hotel. You can monitor the traffic at tanah rata town.

Stayed here 2 nights during Hari Raya Season. The staff were very friendly and accommodating as well as very knowledgeable about tourist attraction and travel condition. Plenty of parking space. Close to town with plenty of restaurants, banks, stores and a money changer. The first night we stayed in the one and 1/2 storey Duplex suite which was spacious and clean. The second night we stayed at the Pahang suite with a garden. It is a nice place to relax and enjoy the nice cool weather and scenery. It is not too far from the tea plantation but beware visiting during peak season, the traffic is slow and can take up to 2 hours for a 30 minute distance ride. Would stay here again if we visit again next time.

The room that we stayed was superior room with a queen size bed. The room was spacious and it was well decorated. The bathroom was clean and it was segmented accordingly. There was a shower space, a private-moment space and also a bathtub. It's so thoughtful of them to provide us with slippers in the bathroom as the floor was quite slippery. The water pressure was really high that we enjoyed so much during shower. It's just like a little massage after a long journey to here. Not only that, there was a balcony for us to chill while viewing the scenery. We were provided with breakfast. There was variety of food being served; cereals, scrambled eggs, sausages, kuey trow and more.

The con is that there is not any internet connection provided in the room. That's a bummer.

Overall, this hotel is highly recommended for other travellers.

My family and I checked into a Duplex Suite for a night at RM 448 with breakfast included (Scones should be served). The hotel atmosphere was wonderful. The one-and-a-half-storey suite was well-equipped, clean and very comfortable. It would have been perfect if free Wi-Fi is thrown in. The view from our suite was breathtaking. It only took us less than 5 minutes to reach the Tanah Rata eateries. You could also take a stroll at the park opposite the hotel in the evening. Generally, I enjoyed my stay at Century Pines Resort very much.

The hotel have species car park and had little bit extra space for children to run about. The room is big so is really fit for my children to run, play and fight in the room. The bathroom and toilet is seperated by a wall which is very nice concept but the shower curtain is not so clean. There are mold obvious on it which had minus the point from the score. One more negative point will be about the house keeping. I do not know much about house keeping but my understanding is clean up all and change the new towel and bed sheet. For my room after the housekeeping I still found very sandy on the bed which I do not happy with this.
One positive point to add if you travel with small kids, they have cartoon channel which not all hotel had.
The breakfast of this hotel is so normal so basic and limited choice so don't expected too much.
The hotel having great location by walking distance you can find some food or a stall but there is no proper walk way from hotel towards the Main Street so beware when you walk out, or cross the road especially at the steepy and narrow junction.

Opposite the hotel is a big park ,so if you are tired with the winding road or the traffic or your small one is boring with the place this will be a good place for them to spent their time.
