Jasmine Cafe is a most unassuming little restaurant you'd find at Tanah Rata. Situated at the corner row of shop, all adorned in orange color due to the owner's affection for anything and eveything Holland (he spent over 15 years living in Holland since 1972 - 1984), this joint is famous among Malaysians, Singaporeans and bus loads of European travellers to Cameron Highlands during the July-Sept peak season. Among the must-try : smoked duck, filet mignon, sambal fish. Smoked duck reminds me of ham, simply melts in your mouth. Beef is from New Zealand, and try them either medium rare or medium. Opens from 12 pm till 9 pm (although we've seen patrons staying on past 9 pm on week nights). Closed on Thursdays. Situated on main road of Tanah Rata.
