Whilest exploring Umbria (in summertime) we came across a sign pointing to a 'bar / restaurant'. Haven't eaten yet we decided to follow it and wow... were we in for a treat! We arrived at an authentic looking restaurant and were warmly welcomed by the waiter. His English was as good as my Italian, so I just nodded a few times when he was verbally explaining the menu of the day, which perfectly fitted in the 'please sit and feel at home'-atmosphere. We were treated with a typical Italian style three course meal and they prepared a special dish for our gluten intolerant child. The taste and the way it was presented is way up on my top Italian food list. Very, very tasteful! I highly recommend stopping here or even driving a few more miles to eat here.
