“Fine dining at a reasonable price”
Reviewed May 28, 2014

€38 for the most incredible Fine Dining that would be three times the price in London or Paris. The Menu is simple superb , the skill of the chef and the quality of the food is hard to describe. Each dish is a painting and the taste sensation is a joy. The Fois Gras , was the best I have ever had - and the Monkfish main course I chose was sublime. Very small restaurant that is incredibly popular so booking is essential . You are much more likely to get in on a none peak night such as Wednesday. Loved it - you must try. It's a bit off the beaten track - but worth the visit.

“Sumptuous”
Reviewed May 19, 2014 via mobile

Fine dining of high quality, with a local vernacular but at a more refined level than any other restaurant we have visited in the region. The skill of the chef is almost unbelievable and matched by informed and attentive (bilingual) service. Worth a major detour. Also charming rooms.

“Top notch restaurant”
Reviewed May 11, 2014

This small restaurant is first class for location, ambience and food. We had the set menu and everything was delicious and complemented by a superb wine list. The chef is first class and his wife ,front of house was friendly and informative.we will definitely eat here again if we visit the area again. it is advisable to book as it is very popular.

“Special Evening”
Reviewed March 10, 2014

This Auberge is run by a husband and wife team, and we were warmly welcomed into a warm and cosy dining room. The food was well presented and delicious, and the wine list complimented the whole evening, and the bill was reasonable!

“What a gem!”
Reviewed January 14, 2014

This is the sort of restaurant we're reluctant to tell people about in case it becomes too difficult to book a table next time! Simply delicious!
