Elizabeth made us feel at home the moment we stepped through the door, especially welcome after a harrowing journey from the West Country.
This Guest House ooze's charm and character being set in spacious grounds in a quiet part of Kidlington where even the local ducks are friendly.
Beds were comfortable and our room was large, warm and cosy.

If you are looking for a lovely place to stay in the Oxford area look no further than Warsborough House.

I have been working in Oxford for the last few months and have tried several different places to stay, and I am happy to say that this was one of, if not the best, to date.

I was met by the charming owner Elizabeth and shown to a decent sized room, although it was a little chilly because a window had been left open, but that was soon rectified with the radiator. The room had just about everything I needed and a comfortable night was had, although the wireless internet coverage was patchy due to the thickness of the walls but there are plans to get this improved.

The guest house is right on the edge of Kidlington (which is not the most picturesque of towns), and is a short drive to a few decent pubs - there is actually one a few doors away but I don’t think they serve food. There is a bus stop right outside that takes one into the city, but I chose to drive to the park and ride so I could get a quick getaway the following evening, although Elizabeth offered the opportunity for me to leave my car there for the day if I wished.

Highly recommended accommodation.

Have stayed at Warsbrough House a few times now, always welcomed and able to arrive late due to business. Very comfortable rooms and a wonderful breakfast. Excellent value for money. As always, will no doubt be returning. Close to airport even when walking approx 15 minutes away.

Stayed for three nights and had a beautiful, comfortable room. Haven't slept so well in years. lovely quiet location and public transport into Oxford is right at the end of the drive so no need to take the car. Lots of lovely places to eat and visit. Blenheim Palace was stunning. Breakfast was good. Will certainly return next year and highly recommend.

Room Tip: King size at the front of the house was lush

I stayed at Warsborough for 2 weeks during a business trip to Kidlington, and it was like a home away from home.
The location is excellent with a regular bus service to Oxford from right outside the property.
The rooms are comfortable, clean and well decorated.
Breakfast is wonderful and is taken by all guests at one large dining table, and this is makes for interesting conversations and sharing of experiances.
There is ample parking, and the Local pub "The six Bells" is only short stroll away.
Overall Elisabeth, the owner, makes your stay at Warsborough a very pleasent one.

Warsborough house is a fine lump of a home with beautiful grounds and a cute little family of ducks in situ in the garden pond.

The rooms and decor fit the character of the building well and I had a great nights sleep and a good breakfast, even though my order was mixed up - I got a full English instead of scrambled eggs with salmon)
One aspect that my wife didn't like was having to order your cooked breakfast the night before-she likes to choose depending on how she feels in the morning and as such was a bit disappointed that her conservative order of toast wasn't adequate. Some bacon was offered by the helpful host but I think my full plate made my wife jealous!

All in all, a lovely peaceful environment and a good place to stay.

I would quite happily visit again.
