Had a couple of nights here as i was working just down the road.
Free parking right outside your room (always a bonus)
Good quality real ale served in the accompanying traditional pub.
Quality decent portions of food served in the bar .

Not the Ritz but for the nightly B&B price i would say its a bargain.
Very freindly staff on my visit.

Its a great location right next to the canal ,i can see it being a great spot for a pint and a meal in the summertime.

I would take no notice of some of these moaning gits on here ,what do they expect for the price?

Would i stop again DEFINATELY

Very friendly staff and a great location on the outskirts of the city. I cycled the adjacent canal towpath into Oxford and up to Blenheim palace, Woodstock and surrounding villages.
I really do not understand the complaints made by other visitors. The hotel was clean and comfortable, if you expect 5 star facilities then expect to pay 5 star prices!!!
Very good value and I look forward to visiting again in the summer when the canal side location will come into its own.

Room Tip: I had a single room in the annex which was comfortable and had good free wifi.

This is lovely place, seldom have I had such a welcome. I would agree that the rooms are small but for £50 within a stones throw of Blenheim Palace you could not get better value for money. A Hotel this is not but for Bed and Breakfast you could not beat it in this location, and talking about breakfast I had the full english but the choice would was considerable. Thank you

Room Tip: Its a bed and breakfast not a hotel

Tiny room, tiny bed, tiny shower/toilet, tiny TV, tiny gap for wardrobe....

Booked through Hotels.com. When I was shown to my cubicle I was very disappointed with the size. unfortunately, because I had booked on line I wasn't able to put any drinks on my bill, so didn't bother.

Breakfast was ok, nice, but tiny.....

Room Tip: Ok on a budget...

It's a pub with a few old damp, cold and not very clean rooms! Advised check-in would be 2pm. Arrived just after 2 and my room was not ready yet. Offered to sit in the pub and wait for my room to be cleaned. Waited for over half an hour and not even offered a complimentary drink!

Rooms advertised as having free WiFi. The WiFi stopped working in the evening. I informed the staff who did not seem bothered by this and thus was without internet for the rest of my stay!

Room Tip: Ask for a room not on the ground floor.

The only consolation was that the damp room with mould on the wall was next to the car park which meant a quick escape in the morning. Always a worry when you are asked for payment when you are checking in and very depressing when you look out of the bedroom window at tarpaulin, building materials and 4 caravans in the back garden. Grim - a 1970s throwback. Do not stay there - it is truly unpleasant.

Room Tip: Room 2 has mould on the windows - avoid.

When I checked in the girl behind the bar was rude and didn't seem to know where she was. When I asked for a drink I was given something completely different and I wanted some food but was risky told that the chef was not there so there was no food this was at half 6 so I was very shocked ad disappointed. I will not be staying here again.
