Harbours Reach is a beautiful cottage located about 20 metres from the quiet and picturesque harbour of Findochty. We found that everything in the cottage e.g. cutlery, crockery, kitchen utensils and furnishings is of the highest quality. Furthermore, the decor was amazing. There are many beautifully made items of handicraft (based on sea glass and wood carving) plus many paintings and prints that reflected the maritime location. The rooms are all lovely, very comfortable and well heated. We explored the Moray coast and found it to be stunningly beautiful and very interesting. We visited Spey Bay (where we saw ospreys fishing and dolphins playing), Burgh Head and many other small fishing ports too numerous to mention. A visit to a whisky distillery was another highlight as was our final fish and chip dinner from nearby Portknockie. We enjoyed our week so very much and would love to visit again. Many thanks to Jeanette for the kind welcome (and the hamper) and for creating such a beautiful cottage.
Wonderfully beautifully kitted out cottage.
Had everything and more to make a stay comfy and good.
Great host. Greeted with lovely welcome chest of goodies.

Beautiful cottage, every need catered for. Village sensational, very friendly people. Saw Dolphins at Spey Bay and Seals at Port Gordon. Will return next year.
Our second visit was even better as the last, the cottage had been upgraded with new flooring and a new, very comfortable kingsized bed. Everything is new and clean and I love to have cotton sheets -always a sign that the owner is prepared to go that extra mile to make your stay as good as it can be. Thank you Jeanette, you deserve every success
We were unlucky with the weather but the fact that we had such a lovely, homely and well equipped cottage it wasn't a problem. Several old harbours in the area; such a shame they aren't working harbours anymore. A lovely break.
Cottage is all newly done out in a tasteful seaside theme, spotlessly clean, a hamper of food very welcoming. Heating effective plus a log burner, plenty of crockery and equipment. Great location in centre of fishing village yards from the harbour, glimpse of sea from the sitting room. Walks along the cliff are well marked and plenty of other harbour villages, castles and small towns to drive to within an hour.
