Fantastic well equipped house in a beautiful location. Everything provided from dish washer to hairdryer, towels and great showers.
We returned to this property after a 4 year lapse and wonder why we did not return sooner. The house is located above the harbour with beautiful views from the garden and the front terrace. Every thing was as we remembered and still in first class condition. Great layout for family or friends and dog friendly as well. You will not need for anything in this property, but if you did, Clare and Steve would be on hand to meet your requirements. With 3 bedrooms to sleep 6 (bunk beds for children or small adults in 3rd room) and a kitchen dining area with a fantastic layout for socialising you might not be tempted to go out? Separate lounge with digital TV and DVD is complimented with a log burner, that we never used as the cottage is so cosy. The WiFi is also excellent throughout the house. As golfers we were spoilt for choice and there is secure store for your equipment The utility room has a side door for bringing your dog in after a day on the beach, with towels and poo bags provided. There is also a welcome pack to ensure you have a healthy breakfast on your first morning with major stores available in nearby Buckie. I do not want to go over the top with this review but if you like history, the sea, harbours, cliff top scenery and fantastic beaches in a quiet but extremely friendly part of Scotland, this property is for you. Oh no! it will be fully booked the next time we want to return.
Station Road cottage is a beautiful cottage on the Moray coast. Clare and Steve were excellent landlords providing additional information on attractions in the local area before arriving and providing a high quality standard of accommodation with additional touches such as a welcome breakfast, bottle of wine and flowers. There were DVDs, board games, books and binoculars available for guests use along with buckets and spades which we put to good use on the various sandy beaches in the area. I would highly recommend this property.
Really enjoyed our stay here, would defiantly stay again. Owners thought of everything & house was great. We arrived with dogs towels & treats left out for our 2 dogs, milk sugar & tea, and even a loaf & bacon for brekkie,
There was a folder with a great guide to every village in travelling distance, details of take always, pubs & shops, & loads of ideas of thing to do.
Great harbour views, very clean, great bedrooms, bathrooms & kitchen.
The only 2 things to note are that the parking would only take 1 car, but loads of parking within a minutes walk, & if you have a dog there is no gate between the patio with the views & the road.
Great place, obviously well loved property presented by very thoughtful owners, great holiday cottage
