Location - Perfect, Property - Perfect, even the weather played its part, days on the beach in October !! We were made to feel very welcome by both Fiona and Karen from the first minute to the last and would go back again without hesitation. Explore all the coastline at your leisure and with Buckie and Tesco only 3 miles away everything is right on your doorstep. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Amazing location and outlook. A real home from home, everything you would expect plus plenty more.We will definitely return.
Very nice person, the house was clean, confortable and beautiful. From the house you can see an amazing landscape.
Recommended, 5 stars
Just spent two weeks here ,a very clean comfortable home. The owners have thought of everything for their guests ,a well stocked kitchen. There is plenty of storage space for all the trappings of a golfing /seaside holiday with extended family of all ages. What better recommendation than to say we have already booked for next year.
Great location, ideal for families with small beach just across the road. The house was lovely with everything there for a wonderful holiday. Weather was great so we didn`t wonder far, had picnics & BBQ`s such a relaxing time with the grandchildren playing on the beaches & a wee bit of rock climbing with granddad. 5 The Hythe was so nice we have booked for next year, thank you Fiona M.
Beautiful cottage right on the beach at Findochty. Stayed as a group of 3 adults and 2 small children, the cottage is lovely with plenty of space and big rooms. We were lucky enough to have beautiful weather and the kids were playing on the beach just outside the front door every day. Cottage has all the required facilities; washing machine, dryer, fully fitted kitchen, wifi etc. Communication with Fiona was great and Jim was very helpful on arrival day showing us around the cottage. Cant wait to stay again next year :-)
We had fantastic time in Findochty.
The cottage is perfectly located, well looked after and equipped. Rooms are tastefully decorated and cosy. There was not a speck of dust when we visited. The house was very clean, bed linen and towels were fresh.
There are some dvds, family games and books in case of bad weather, but Moray Coast has so much to offer, it's impossible to get bored.
The views are stunning. It was so good to fall asleep listening to the waves and wake up to a stunning sun rise.
We enjoyed a local fish and chip supper in an award winning shop in Portknockie, had a delicious meal in Bijou in Buckie and indulged ourselves to some ice cream in Portsoy. What's important, nearest villages are within walking distance. There ae shops in Buckie with anything one could need.
We also had a nice cup of coffe in The Fly Cup in Portknockie with a charming owner who is very child friendly.
We spent hours at the beach and walking enjoying stunning views.
We will definitely go back.
Highly recommend to anyone any age. You won't be disappointed.
