“Beautiful”
Reviewed August 28, 2017 for a stay in August 2017

We were blessed with some lovely weather, beautiful cottage with a fantastic little cove right outside the front door... if R&R is what your looking for this is it... friendly locals, good pub and a fantastic little harbour. Bijou definitely worth a visit, a lovely walk along the coast to Buckie and Bow Fiddle Rock worth a look in Portknockie. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Jim was great too, very helpful chap. Thank you.

“Beachfront Bliss”
Reviewed August 16, 2017 for a stay in August 2017

Had a fabulous time at Beachfront Cottage. First time staying here but booked it already for next year. Lovely house that fulfilled all our needs with a lovely welcome pack to start us off. Great contact with owners and caretaker before and during our stay. Dog friendly too! Highly recommended.

“Well Equipped Cottage in a Charming Location”
Reviewed August 7, 2017 for a stay in July 2017

5 The Hythe is spacious, beautifully decorated and better equipped than almost every cottage we've rented. We appreciated the dog towels, while our two Labradors were impressed with the treats in their very own welcome pack (our welcome pack was equally appreciated). The cottage is right in front of a tiny, sandy cove which is surrounded by well-mown grass and picnic tables. The dogs were in heaven. The elevated terrace behind the cottage is a sun trap ideal for early evening gin and tonics. Our stay in Findochty was definitely worth the long journey from our home in Surrey.

“Wonderful cottage and stunning location”
Reviewed July 30, 2017 for a stay in July 2017

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cottage, was impressed by the finish and cleanliness of the cottage. Ideally situated right beside a picnic area and beach, children loved pottering around at the waters edge.

“Beautiful, family/pet friendly seaside home.”
Reviewed July 25, 2017 for a stay in July 2017

Stunning house, beautifully decorated. Contained everything we needed and more! Kids had own bedroom and 2 bathrooms, just fab along with dishwasher and 2 fridges, not to mention the spa bath..... We didn't want to leave. Proper family holiday at the beach. Findochty a lovely friendly village on a path along the Moray coast. Quiet and safe location but only 3 miles to Buckie to nearest large supermarket. Short drive to Elgin and Spey Bay. We were blest with some stunning days of sunshine but on the one rainy day went to Spiroxx and swimming at Elgin. Definitely recommend Spiroxx, what a day out! The owners were so helpful and Jim provided wonderful welcome gifts, even dog towels and treats. Sometimes holidays can be quite stressful but I feel like I have had a proper holiday, the drive there and back was relaxed, the views and sunsets amazing. Thank you so much, definitely recommend.

“Great place to stay”
Reviewed July 3, 2017 for a stay in May 2017

Stayed at the above cottage in May. Had great looking views over the sea, lovely kitchen diner, great sittingroom and four great sized bedrooms. The master suite was big with en-suite showroom, even the single room was larger than your normal box room. Would gladly revisit this house.

“Three men in a Hoose”
Reviewed June 10, 2017 for a stay in May 2017

Three elderly gents on a golfing break...perfect. The house is large, spotlessly clean, has quality fittings, comfortable furniture and beds. The location is stunning, quiet, yet a few minutes walk to the harbour and pub. The beach directly in front of the house has picnic seats and tables ,perfect for a sundowner, which we managed to have even in May. We were fortunate to get the best week of weather this year, which allowed us to have a barby on the raised deck at the back of the house where the sun goes down late. we've already decided to do it again next year. The kitchen has all the utensils /cutlery etc you'll ever need and the showers are great. if you leave your bedroom window open at night you can hear the eider ducks talking to each other in the morning, what a way to wake up! We were all taken with the lovely coffee mugs, (sea themed) and decided we would like some until we dicovered the price, (cheapest price..£20 each on Amazon). A great holiday home!
