“Beautiful, family/pet friendly seaside home.”
Reviewed July 25, 2017 for a stay in July 2017

Stunning house, beautifully decorated. Contained everything we needed and more! Kids had own bedroom and 2 bathrooms, just fab along with dishwasher and 2 fridges, not to mention the spa bath..... We didn't want to leave. Proper family holiday at the beach. Findochty a lovely friendly village on a path along the Moray coast. Quiet and safe location but only 3 miles to Buckie to nearest large supermarket. Short drive to Elgin and Spey Bay. We were blest with some stunning days of sunshine but on the one rainy day went to Spiroxx and swimming at Elgin. Definitely recommend Spiroxx, what a day out! The owners were so helpful and Jim provided wonderful welcome gifts, even dog towels and treats. Sometimes holidays can be quite stressful but I feel like I have had a proper holiday, the drive there and back was relaxed, the views and sunsets amazing. Thank you so much, definitely recommend.

“Great place to stay”
Reviewed July 3, 2017 for a stay in May 2017

Stayed at the above cottage in May. Had great looking views over the sea, lovely kitchen diner, great sittingroom and four great sized bedrooms. The master suite was big with en-suite showroom, even the single room was larger than your normal box room. Would gladly revisit this house.

“Three men in a Hoose”
Reviewed June 10, 2017 for a stay in May 2017

Three elderly gents on a golfing break...perfect. The house is large, spotlessly clean, has quality fittings, comfortable furniture and beds. The location is stunning, quiet, yet a few minutes walk to the harbour and pub. The beach directly in front of the house has picnic seats and tables ,perfect for a sundowner, which we managed to have even in May. We were fortunate to get the best week of weather this year, which allowed us to have a barby on the raised deck at the back of the house where the sun goes down late. we've already decided to do it again next year. The kitchen has all the utensils /cutlery etc you'll ever need and the showers are great. if you leave your bedroom window open at night you can hear the eider ducks talking to each other in the morning, what a way to wake up! We were all taken with the lovely coffee mugs, (sea themed) and decided we would like some until we dicovered the price, (cheapest price..£20 each on Amazon). A great holiday home!

“Fantastic House ( with dog) Rental in Findochty”
Reviewed May 1, 2017 for a stay in April 2017

Just back from a wonderful week in this fantastic cottage in Findochty.
Thank you Fiona & Ian for ours lovely gifts on arrival ( wine, chocolate, biscuits, dog biscuits. Plus milk eggs, bread, teabags. Everything you need to start you off.
This is our second stay at the Hythe. Such a fantastic cottage. Everything you need, spacious, brilliant well equipped kitchen and the lounge which has a real fire. Plus not forgetting the Jacuzzi bath.
Great place to stay, opposite a beach which made my dog very happy each morning, with ball action. Less than 5 minutes around the corner is a bigger beach.
Less than 10 mins walk along the harbour you will find the pub, very friendly and great food. Def worth a visit. Fish and chips excellent, but good choice on menu.
This house is a great place to stay if you like to walk, we walked from Findochty to Cullen along the cliff coastal walk. Finished off with Cullen Skink at Cullen Bay hotel. You can actually walk from Buckie to Portsoy which takes you through different harbours. Next time we visit we plan to do this, All in all, a fab cottage to stay in which would suit families and also people wishing to walk and explore the area by car.

We will be back :)

“Perfect - beautifull cottage”
Reviewed April 23, 2017 for a stay in April 2017

The cottage was beautiful and very well equipped. On arrival a welcome basket of goodies was left for us. Cottage was very comfy and very large. One of the best places I have stayed in. The views for all the windows were stunning - changing everyday. Findochty was a lovely friendly village. We even got to see loads of dolphins swimming past on some of the mornings. The whole area is beautiful and will be back to visit all the places we missed.
The owners were extremely helpful especially as we had to change or arrangements at the last minute to bring our dog.
I can not fault anything in this beautiful cottage.
Many thanks for a lovely stay.

“Fantastic!”
Reviewed April 18, 2017 for a stay in April 2017

My family and I stayed here for a few days at the beginning of Easter. The cottage is in a idyllic location, only yards from the beach (slip). The owners have thought of everything and is catered for all ages. We loved it so much, we have booked it again for 2 weeks in July. We have stayed in many cottages in Findochty, and this cottage is by far, the best.

I booked this for some employees that were working in the area, they had nothing but good things to say about the accommodation and hosts. I wouldn't hesitate to book again. Thank you so much for making our guys feel welcome and making sure they had everything they need, you're a star.
