“The best way to explore the Scottish Riviera”
Reviewed March 5, 2017 for a stay in March 2017

The day we spent in the cottage was an unforgettable experience on the coast. Perfect place to escape your daily busy routine. The small village of Findochty is a good way to experience the culture of Scottish fisherman towns. The house itself is extremely cosy and warm. Me and my friends manged to find everything we needed from bbq to dessert spoons. The cottage has great sea views, which is just 10 meters away. Welcoming hosts were happy to help and share information and stories about the village, costal trails, nearby shops and restaurants.

“A comfortable well appointed cottage in a peaceful seaside location”
Reviewed February 20, 2017 for a stay in February 2017

We had a great short break here in this warm comfortable cottage.
Fully equipped with all the mod cons, well kept and easy to clean the cottage was great.
Out the back is a decked verandah and we enjoyed sitting out in the warm sun - in February!
There is a jacuzzi bath in the main bathroom and the master bedroom is en-suite with a shower. Three out of the four bedrooms offer great sea views.
5 The Hythe is right down by the sea - almost on its own inlet, with a sandy beach and very quiet roads. There is lots to do in the way of exploring rocks, rock pools, beaches etc without getting in the car. The village pub which does evening meals is only a short stroll away and the excellent fish and chip van which comes around on Fridays provides excellent fare.
5 The Hythe provides an excellent base for exploring this part of the world with its many quaint and interesting beaches and small harbours.
All in all a great holiday.
Many thanks
The Peterson Family
