we had sunday lunch lunch with friends here and having never been befor read the trip advisor reviews and i was a little nervous.
But we were greeted by friendly staff shown to a table in a nice conservatory with menus and drinks we had the last table. A short sunday menu some nice choices I had soup and beef and it was really good the beef especially good rare but not raw nice roasts yorkies not the best but good enough and the soup homemade creamy and hot. Others in the party has lamb (huge slow cooked piece of shoulder) and a really nice looking lemon sole.
All in all very nice indeed not cheap but well worth it good atmosphere and service will be returning.
Chatted with the chef on the way out and mentioned trip advisor he gave a wry smile and said he was sad people had'nt enjoyed there visitbut after the fact there was nothing he could do.
