Good lunchtime soups.
Excellent Sunday roast and puddings to die for!!
Best to book in advance for Sunday I think.

Food was varied and scrumptious whether a full meal or snack. You can book a time to have roast dinner on Sundays and all sorts of roasts are offered. Could't eat better.

A lovely cafe/restaurant linked to a shop selling a good range of health food & fairtrade stock. We stopped for dinner and enjoyed really wholesome food. The fish pie was particularly good. Its a great place to stop off either for a coffee or an evening meal. The atmosphere was lovely with many tourist diners chatting to each other and swapping stories about their island holiday.

We took a day trip to Coll, which includes a guided trip around the island and some free time. There are two places to dine of Coll and we opted for the cafe.

Life runs at a different pace in Coll, which perhaps is something to be enjoyed rather than a cause for irritation. Service in the cafe might therefore be slower than in Starbucks.

The food is nice, and individually prepared and they were able to accomodate guten free with no dificulty. In fact, here, in the most remote place, we received he most understanding and service for dietary needs and greatest choice of anywhere on our tour of Scotland. Some metropolitan establishments and chefs should be humbled by the comparison.

The food is lcoal. Really local, and much of it is from the Island.

The cafe is also frequented by locals, some of whom make a regular lunch call to the cafe as part of their daily routine. Children are very welcome, and there are supplies of toys for them. There are both tables and also sofas. Outside there are tables for when the weather is fine.
