“Great food, helpful staff”
Reviewed August 1, 2013

Ate here as part of my 2 night break on Coll.
The seafood platter is decent value at £30 as it included lobster, langoustine, mussels, crab claws, etc.
The crab spaghetti was nice and spicy and very tasty.

“Sublime, still dreaming about the food”
Reviewed July 21, 2013 via mobile

Ate here 3 evenings on a recent trip to Coll. All 4 of us, including 2 teenagers, thoroughly enjoyed every meal. Excellent choice, specials every day. Lots of super fresh seafood, but also meat. Not much veg but lovely salad. Scrummy puddings too, local rhubarb meringue fool was delicious. Wine was reasonably priced, low mark up. Friendly service and lovely views of the bay. Do book. Though you can also eat in the bar or garden. Can't wait to return, this was such a highlight of a wonderful trip to a beautiful island. Ps has it's own helipad in c case you might need it!

“Seafood extravaganza!!”
Reviewed July 17, 2013

Had a wonderful night out here on our recent trip to Coll. We had the seafood platter for two and a bottle of tasty wine... no need for starters or pud with this mighty plateful of food! Perfectly cooked mussels, scallops, squat lobster tails, crab claws, langoustine and half a lobster, and very reasonably priced. Be warned tho, it is the only place to go out in Coll, and when we were there on a Saturday night there were some fairly noisy and rowdy lads in the bar next door! Didn't spoil the meal in anyway for us, but for those expecting a peaceful restaurant, perhaps try a week night!

“Best place on the island, superb seafood”
Reviewed June 28, 2013

This is a lovely place to go after a day out on the island. Best of all is the food. A varied menu, but featuring locally caught seafood and with specials changing daily. It is not cheap, but it is definitely worth the money in terms of quality. I enjoyed the scallops, halibut, lobster and on the last day a seafood platter (£30 for one) which had scallops, lobster, mussels, squat lobster, crab claw and langoustines. The other plus point was the good service delivered by friendly waitresses. The ambience is relaxed and fairly contemporary and there are lovely views over the garden and the loch. On a warm evening I'm sure you could eat outside too. I'm afraid the other venue on the island is not a patch on this. Fully recommended.

“SeeFood”
Reviewed September 4, 2012

There is only one descriptive for good seafood - "Gastronomic". We dined on seafood every meal and the Seafood Platter for 2 was finger licking good. The scallops so tender and juicy as were the mussels muniere and lobster tails nice and moist. Breakfast was continental and then a Scottish Cooked to follow. Man it lasted a day.
