Bogo is located 3 miles inland from Stari Grad and Jelsa in Vrbanj. The konoba is located opposite the church before you get to the village centre. There is parking round the back of the konoba for many cars.
Although they do meat and fish, most come here for the huge pizzas which barely fit on the plates. Pizzas are thin crust and loaded with toppings. One pizza between two with a salad is ample for an evening meal. They do a brisk takeaway trade too. If you have any left over, ask for a box and you can take it home for later. Beer average priced.
There are only 2 waiters and they do a great job dashing around and are multilingual. You sit on huge wooden benches and tables under the trees and they bring a cushion to sit on. The only downside is being bitten around the ankles by insects so wear repellant. They are open all year but in the winter they move the tables indoors.
Open 7 days a week. Worth the trip.
