Thanks for a lovely evening spent having a few drinks. This was made quite special by the warmth & friendlyness of the owner. We would definately go back.

Myself and girlfriend Lisa, are on our 2nd stay at North Kessock, to see and hopefully photograph dolphins. After a long day at Chanonry Point doing so, you can't beat this place for some proper pub grub and a bev. We both had the king prawn scampi, and oh my god the portions were massive! It was hot, fresh and again another place with great presentation on your plate. I couldn't wait to tuck in, as i love my food. 10 / 10. Spot on!

Room Tip: We weren't staying in any of the rooms. It was strictly a visit for a meal.

We booked two rooms for three nights, when we turned up at reception there was no record of our booking which we made three days earlier direct over the phone. The receptionist was so rude and we knew she was lying, then it turned out we were booked fir two weeks time, which was ridiculous. So untruthful it was written all over her face. We had to spend one night in Elgin and two in Aviemore as everywhere was full. Do not give this hotel your custom total joke, never been so let down anywhere in the WORLD! Not even a sorry

We have family in the area so visited the restaurant, around twelve of us, for dinner. It was really very good. The decor is a bit out-of-date Scottish although the location and view are outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble and the wait staff were friendly, helpful and eagter to please. I had the turbot with a white wine sauce and it was cooked to perfection. There were a mix of meals and everybody seemed pleased with their choices.
We had lots of wine and a concensus that sticky toffee pudding should follow all around. You can get addicted to sticky toffee pudding even if it's around 1000 calories a helping.
Good times, good food and a lovely atmosphere. I'd go back there again. Give it a try!

Having stayed at the hotel very recently I can say it was fantastic and I will be staying their again when I'm working up in the area.
The food was fantastic for the 3 days I stayed not one fault at all with the chefs.
Only down side is the drinks are slightly expensive but not horrendous and the staff are fantastic always smiling and happy.
I stayed in the family room and it was very clean with good furniture would defiantly recommend

Our room at the hotel had a lovely view of the garden from the rear window and the Moray Firth from the side window. The room was large, the beds comfortable and the bathroom spacious.

Dinner in the restaurant was very tasty, the vegetarian choice was a welcome change from the usual veggie lasagne or stuffed peppers, offering polenta with sun-dried tomatoes, basil and rocket salad. The meat main courses were a little pricey (£17 for venison).

Breakfast was also delicious, but the coffee would have been better had it been freshly ground and not instant.

Overall, a pleasant experience and great location and scenery right outside the hotel - we saw an otter and seals in the water right outside the hotel!

we had a meal here and were very pleasantly surprised. The food and service were excellent and we will certainly be back for a meal next year when we stay at Dolphin Bay Suites, Ardersier
