Good food, somehow different from the usual seafood taverna. The setting is also nice, it's an old olive oil workshop, completely wooden furniture and planks on the floor. Not cheap but not expensive either, and SPACY between tables, which is rare and appreciated. Worth a shot!

We visited here with friends during the Ionian regatta. Despite the general chaos in Sivota the restaurant was great, lovely food and a nice atmosphere. I had sardines followed by lamb chops in a lovely creamy sauce. All were brilliant, really tasty and well cooked.
My husband had mussels and calamari and his too was brilliant - truly nice Seafood cooked well, exactly what you want from Greek food.
Service was good and not slow at all, despite he whole town being fairly busy. Would recommend..

Greek food, nicely presented. Heavenly views, Great waterside location looking out over the boats, arriving by dinghy, and tying it up outside the taverna - Love it !

We're here for 2 weeks and have had a chance to sample what's on offer in Vasiliki, Nidri and Sivota (down below us from our villa but sadly too steep a road to walk back from!) Our villa book recommends the Old Store but there are much better choices in Sivota, given the menus and prices are all the same! Starters were fine (dips and bread) but lamb chops were really tired and the worst I've had so far (best were Taverna Ionian on the other side of the bay), spaghetti bolognese went untouched after a forkful, and chicken parmigiana was nothing of the sort. Maybe an off day but we won't bother with the Old Store again.

We arrived in Sivota on a flotilla holiday. The town is a busy little place and there are lots of restaurants and bars vying for your trade. The Old Store is one of the larger establishments and, having our 12 year old son with us, seemed family-friendly and appropriate.
The warm bread and garlic dip presented on arrival is yummy and soon disappeared.
The service was alright, but again as seen a lot on our trip, busy August evenings are the norm and demanding for seasonal businesses who can't carry lots of staff.
The food was average, no complaints, but nothing to rush back for.
Overall a well-established place turning out a good choice of traditional and varied dishes in an authentic manner.
