We found the Ionion the cheapest on the strip but that did not lower the quality of the food . The service & food was excellent. As it is the cheapest it is popular ..

Very friendly service and a very clean restaurant. We had an excellent fish soup for a very reasonable price. We will surely return there.

Very good place for those who like fish. The family running this tavern has got their ot fisherman's boat so you could be sure the fish is really fresh and excellent. The tavern is on that part of Syvota bay which is not crowded so you could sit in a calm just by the sea.
Most of all I could recommend fried red mullet - it is extremely tasty.
The owners are very freindly.

Location perfect, service very kind and helpful, and of course the best fresh fish, well cooked. We recommend the balcony for a 180 degree view of the golf of Sivota. The price to pay for all this a bit high..but overall we would go again...

We read about this place on tripadvisor. It is good and we ended up going there 3 times in a week. As you drive into sivota harbour it is on the LHS. Average cost was about 25 euros per head. You can sit upstairs under a canopy or downstairs on the waterfront. It is family run and has been going for about 40 years. Father, son and aunties all involved. It has a really nice feel. Fish is their thing, everything cooked over proper charcoal. All fresh as a daisy. All deep-fried starters were delicious, particularly the deep-fried courgettes and aubergine. The batter was as light as tempura. The best meat we tried were the lamb chops. All in all, a delightful and friendly place, beautifully run....
