Lovely location in a relatively quiet village, right on the banks of the river. Very warm and relaxing atmosphere inside with modern decor. Choice of 2 menus. Had the fish and chips and hubby had the scampi, both an excellent sized portion! Very good meal, ate everything and shared a pud!

Service was friendly and efficient. We called ahead and booked a table as it can get busy with passing trade. Lovely cozy bar at the back as well but didn't stay for a drink.

Overall very pleased and would def recommend and return again if back in the area.

Booked for dinner on 13th September on spec - very helpful staff who made us feel very welcome. Compact menu but with lots of variation - the Pork escalope was excellent & the Lamb brochette full of flavour - but was very large

Having discovered they are a hotel we would stay here as the views on to the Tay are stunning

The sofas in the bar are soft and on the Sunday - prior to driving back to Edinburgh for our flight home we were happily left drinking coffee for 2 hours without any pressure
Great place we will visit again

On returning from a good walk in the area, we were greeted warmly by the owner and team member. We were taken by the Smoked haddock and salmon spaghetti in a cream sauce. The meal was hot and well presented and we enjoyed the bread that came with some dipping oil.
This together with a pint each went down a treat and we enjoyed a view of the Tay. The menu was served both in the restaurant and bar.
A clean and well looked after hotel, with a very pleasant bar area (even better when the fire would be lite). Though I do appreciate the reason for doing it, a blackboard by the front door indicating Fish and Chips does not do much for the entrance. Certainly a place I would return to when in the area.

Having been in this area many times before, I'd always ate in the Grandtully hotel but we were walking through on Sunday morning and the Grandtully hadn't opened, so we went in here. Glad we did - great food, (and plenty of it) great service, great views and a very comfortable bar. As it was blowing a gale and battering down with rain, we didn't sit outside on the balcony, but the views here on a nice day would be lovely. No complaints about the prices and the staff very friendly and helpful. My other half is a vegetarian and she loved it too. Personally, I'd recommend the local fish!
