Central Scotland situation very accessible. Comfortable friendly, couple of nights. Limited menu, monster breakfasts. A little too close to the road, but the river noise is tolerable if you’re on the right side.

Fantastic location on the banks of the Tay, the food was beautifully cooked and presented, the waiting staff were lovely and it was just a very pleasant and relaxed evening. Would love to come back again if I am in the area.

We stayed here again on 29th July (our fourth stay). We had a lovely welcome from both Geoff and Josie who are the perfect hosts. Six of us had a meal in the busy restaurant on the Sunday evening, everyone of us agreed that the food was delicious and excellent value. We went into the bar for a wee drink after dinner and Mitch (as were the staff in the restaurant) couldn't do enough for us. We found some of the locals in the bar to be very friendly and most entertaining! Our room was absolutely spotless with an awesome view overlooking the river.
Would highly recommend you stay here if in the area...or even just to pop in for a meal...probably best to try and book in advance though as very popular.

We had a birthday lunch at Inn on the Tay last Sunday. My family were slightly late as they had travelled from Helensburgh but it wasn't a problem for the nice ladies that served our lunch. It was a special BBQ with a choice of meats, prawns and veggie options accompanied by corn on the cob, baked potato and salad and was tasty. The portions were really good but we still managed dessert! My grandson had plenty of choice from the menu and enjoyed watching the kayakers on the river while he was eating.
All in all a very nice lunch and good value for money .

We came across this gem when passing through and couldn't help but stop. The two girls working in the evening were lovely and professional and the atmosphere in the lounge area was superb. We were promtly served and had bar suppers - the food was of very high standard and reasonably priced. Tried to book in but sadly they were full for the night - will definitely return to stay a night!
