“A must see when in Laoag, Ilocos Norte”
Reviewed February 15, 2013 via mobile

It was nice to see the Malacanang of the North and get a glimpse of the life of the Marcos Family. You will see the rooms of the Marcos couple and their kids. The house is beautiful and huge! The furnitures are beautiful. There is a minimal entrance fee to get inside the Malacanang of the North. We also tried the special empanada at the Cafe inside the Malacanang of the North grounds.

“The House of the Corrupt Marcoses”
Reviewed January 16, 2013

This place reminds us of how the Marcoses lived in grandeur while the average Pinoy lived in poverty!

A wake up call for all those living in the past!

The house is slowly falling apart, but still worth a visit to remind us and educate the young in how corrupt Marcos was.

“Malacanang of The North, A Historical Heritage”
Reviewed January 7, 2013

One of the most memorable vacation trip I recently had was in Ilocos Norte. I got the chance to view the Malacanang of the North. It is built facing Paoway Lake. The view is spectacular. For me it is a Historical Heritage, that can boast tourism in our country.

It's very good place for a short stop over going to Paoay Church. Good to reminisce history of Ilocos.
