The Palace of the North as what some says faces the serene Paoay Lake and its magnificent. For a small entrance fee, you get to see one of the presidential houses built by the Marcoses.
Though it is way old, the local government is trying to preserve it. The furniture are all made of hardwood. The rooms also show each quarters of the Marcos children. The biggest one of course is the master bedroom which has a living/dining area and a very big bathroom. I think the Master bedroom area occupies about 1/2 of the 2nd floor area.
