“Value for money restaurant”
Reviewed June 17, 2014

Located in Kushalnagar, bang in the heart of the city. We came to this restaurant while driviing to Namdroling Monastery from Dubare Elephant Camp.

Located in 1st or 2nd floor (can't recollect). Had to climb the stairs since there was no elevator/escalator. Ambience and service is good. Food quality is exceptional. Price is decent too. It's neither cheap, not costly. Was amazed to see Tibetian monks too come here for lunch.

The waiters forgot to get us Lime Soda that we had ordered and had billed for it. Later he agreed to remove the item from the bill and revise the amount. This was the only negative that I observed.

Bottomline: Excellent food and ambience, value for money.

“Not so good”
Reviewed May 21, 2014

stayed in castle international, so we had breakfast and dinner twice here. both the times dinner was average. on first day, they gave welcome drink for dinner whereas on second day the same was missing. dinner dish qty was sufficient for both of us, but the taste couldn't be appreciable. soup was watery and tasted awful. the worst was their breakfast. only ala carte available whereas dish available are only dosa, poori, and bread/omelette. waiting period for dish to be served is approx. 15 ~20 mins.

“Mixed experience”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

We ate twice , the first time was during dinner and the paneer was nicely done, though the roti was cold. The second time was lunch which was a thali, and there was a big crowd, and there was a queue to get your food, and a few of dishes which were part of the thali were finished, the thali itself was average to poor.

“excellent food for affordable prices”

Try the Onion Dosa without fail, the place is just across the road from Casiita Resort where we were staying, the food was amazing and they also have a few shops for you to shop for any spices , daily needs, special items which represent Coorg etc.
