“Delightful”
Reviewed July 25, 2013

We visited the lighthouse on 18th July and loved it. The walk from the main road was a little steep but very picturesque. My wife was wearing sandals and had no trouble with the walk to the lighthouse via the fields.
Once there we were greeted by a very friendly volunteer, who then gave us a guided tour of the site and the lighthouse. He was very knowledgeable, interesting and very patient with all the questions fired at him by my two young (7 and 9).
All in all a very enjoyable trip which all the family, young and old enjoyed.
One word of warning, check the days and times the lighthouse is open as it does not open every day and the hours it's open are limited.

“Gorgeous views and lovely walk”
Reviewed July 25, 2013

You need to walk about 10 mins down hill to the lighthouse, it was nowhere near as hard to find as some people on here are suggesting, although you would struggle with a buggy or if you have limited mobility. The guide was about 30 mins and was very interesting, i think our guide was called ken and he was very friendly and made the tour very interesting. A very reasonable fee for the views and tour.
