A relaxed at home atmosphere and considerate staff. Came to our aid with a hot toddy when my wife had a fever...no charge, hope she feels better~ was the greeting. Delicious breakfast. Cosy bed. Daughter age 6 loved the pool. Unfussy and will be back.

A small hotel in a small and magic island. Very nice room, sophisticated colonial ambience, superlative breakfast. The restaurant is absolutely the best on the island, but it is necessary to reserve the table even if you are in the hotel.

Our stay was perfect! We had the room st street level, because nothing else was available we were apprehensive.... It was perfect and for the value excellent. The linen, the decor the bath accesories were top of the line!! And the restaurant food is delicious. Service and staff very good, and the location is very central specially if you want to be close to the Marina. Beautiful beach 5 min walk!!

This was our first trip to the Bahamas, and after an indifferent overnight in Nassau it was wonderfully refreshing to arrive at a place which is so stylish, relaxing and friendly. The whole hotel, and especially the rooms, are very tastefully decorated and comfortable. The restaurant, while not inexpensive, is imaginative and thoroughly enjoyable (and the wine list is staggering for such a relatively isolated place). The staff were extremely friendly and helpful (especially Tina). Definitely a place to come back to!

This is a lovely, very small(7 rooms) hotel. The decor is white.....very crisp and clean ...dark wood floors, and antique furnishings. A very intimate and homy feeling...just like the island!
Pool is small, but very pretty....great outdoor, jungle like shower by the pool. It is across the street from the Government Dock...and right next to the beginning of the retail part of town! Beach bags and towels are provided.....there is a designated group of beach chairs and umbrellas on the Pink Sands Beach just for The Landing guests. (no room service or fitness center that I found, but I could not make the ratings below go away!)

Room Tip: Room in the back, rather than over restaurant!

From the moment we arrived at The Landing we received the most generous of Bahamian welcomes not only from the wonderfully warm and upbeat assistant manager Dawn and Tina who manages the restaurant, but from the whole crew.
The setting is idyllic and the rooms, designed by India Hicks, were stunning. Being in the old Library building we had superb views out across the sound towards North Eleuthera, with an East facing verandah for relaxing on before and after the beach.
For anyone looking for a 5-star hotel they should look elsewhere - and probably not on Harbour Island. The Landing is the most sophisticated Inn I have ever had the pleasure to stay in and I look forward to returning as soon as I can.

Room Tip: Choose a room in the old library building - it sits back from the main building with the bar and res...

We had our honeymoon here and enjoyed pretty much every minute. The island is perfect, Toby, Tracey, Dawn and their team work very hard to ensure you have a very relaxing time.

Nothing is too much trouble, but everything is 'Bahamian' in nature... relaxed, informal. The food is sublime, the atmosphere nice and chilled. Over on the other side of the one mile wide island, you will find the most beautiful deserted beach you could hope to imagine, complete with a designated area complete with loungers and sun shades for hotel guests.

Imagine if you took your fave British country pub, and trasfered it to a sunny drenched Bahmian island. That pretty much sums up the Landing. Elegence personified.

Everything you could possibly hope for

Room Tip: The Fitness centre is the island itself. Swimming, walking or playing on the beach, snorkeling or sc...
