I had the pleasure of dining at Rock House two nights in a row. Dinner the first night was so good, I had to come back again. Don Purdy and his staff, Wanda, Kava, Asalyn, G Man, and Eric were so gracious and welcoming to me. The first night I did not have a reservation, but was seated immediately. The Cider-Brined Pork Tenderloin with Goat Cheese Mashed Potatoes, Onion Straws and Apple Relish was without a doubt the best I've ever tasted. The Ice Cream Turtle Pie was to die for (I had it two nights in a row). Second night, I had the Thai Stone Crab & Lobster Spring Rolls with Marscarpone Cheese, chopped Herbs and Sweet Chili Dipping Sauce, and the Roasted Bahamian Lobster with Sweet Potato Puree and Bok Choy... simply dee-lish! Don was so kind, and what a surprise that he remembered I mentioned it was my birthday! My Ice Cream Turtle Pie came out with a sparkler and the staff singing "Happy Birthday". So nice! Will I be back? Absolutely, again and again!!! Btw, the orchid garnish is such a nice touch.
