“while above average for most resort areas, below average for Harbour Island”
Reviewed April 3, 2011

We just spent a week in Harbour Island and had several exceptional food experiences, particularly at the Dunmore and Rock House. While Coral Sands offered a beautiful setting (next store to the Dunmore), the food was mediocre.

“Loved having lunch here!”
Reviewed May 28, 2010

We were so glad we stopped here for lunch on our 2 day trip to Harbour Island. The view of Pink Sands Beach was amazing, the food, service and drinks were all excellent. Highly recommend!

“Sits on one of the best beaches in the world”
Reviewed May 10, 2010

This restaurant is worth visiting solely because it sits on one of the most gorgeous beaches on this planet. The food and drinks are good, but it's really, really pricey. However, after you eat, go to the amazing beach and enjoy it. We had lunch there one day and had good service and a really tasty lunch. However, the menu said to notify wait staff of food allergies, so I mentioned a gluten allergy and his response was that he didn't know what that was and he couldn't offer any alternatives. I opted for salad. The next day we had drinks there and had terrible service and OK drinks. Avoid the mojito, it is sweet in a weird way. But the atmosphere can't be beat and that beach...

“nice place to relax”
Reviewed April 16, 2010

the food here is as good as it probaly gets way out here. the setting however is spectacular. you can overlook veggies that aren't quite perky when you are lying on a couch with rum in your hand-eating fritters and laying in the sun.

“There is no such thing as a bad day at this place.”
Reviewed January 25, 2010

The restaurant overlooking the beach is where most of the content for this review is drawn from. I strolled through the property in search of a nice bite to eat and a modern way to get down to Eleuthra beach while I was on a Day Long Harbour Island excursion from Nassau.

The Scenery: Spectacular - Island Sophisticate as if it were ripped from Better Homes and Gardens global top 10! There was a cool breeze and full sun - but not a bit of scorching or sweat at all!

The hosting staff was very kind and made really good suggestions that proved to be spot-on.
I went into the place thinking ok ill try the Grouper fingers since I've already had the Conk fritters back in Nassau at Twin Brothers. When hostess Teresa urged me with a coy" But you havent tried >our< Conk Fritters.". So i gave in and ordered the Coral Sands restaurant dish and it was sooo delicious! It had far more herbs and spices and the dough was more of a sweet butter cloud - needless tosay it was good!. it comes with this rich and creamy sauce and custom made salsa that instead of being spicy was a surprising blend of light salt bursts and sweetness.

I paired that with a light rum blended drink that was stellar and prepared to head down the private staircase to the Eleuthra beach. There was such lovliness all around and there is a patio room that lets u take full advantage of the view and breeze in cushy-comfort of shade.

If you go to Coral Sands you are sure to be welcomed by lovely people and leave with awesome memories.
