Several marked paths lead to a colorful display of tropical plants, flowers, and trees. A calm environment where you can stop to meditate amid the greenery. Walking the paths gives good exercise in a lovely setting.

This garden is great for a two hour visit and a nice place to have a picnic if you're doing a tour of the east coast area. The person who I believe is the manager (or could be head gardener) is a very friendly lady who was happy to spend some time speaking with us and explained about some of the plants being toxic and whatnot. The kids found it neat to see a rubber tree and find globs of rubber drippings around the tree. It really drips rubber! It is a bit dry now, being late June. The only thing I can say that is not positive is that we came here about 25 years ago and it has not been maintained up to the same level. The property is a real jewel and they should really spend a bit more money to keep it maintained.

My husband and I love flowers/plants and learning about native species - this self guided tour was awesome. The laminated cards gave you background on all the plants and it was easy to identify them as they had tags and numbers next to each plant. The little restaurant was awesome as well for a bite to eat and the rum punch was great!

We were on an Island tour and stopped off for a drink. Lovely little cafe and shop outside the gardens.
We had rum punch, as you do, and used the rest room. The latter lock didn't work but a foot worked ok.
Shop had nice selection of gifts.
The gardens we did not have opportunity to see unfortunately.

you get 2 papers with informationn of the plants you see during the 2 walks. Unfortunately most of the flowers were already finished and they were renovating some areas so I didn't see it on its best but still it was a pleasant place to be. As most tropical gardens very humid but at the end you can enjoy a nice cold drink or enjoy an ice cream. the shop has nice souvenirs
