Owner description: This beach offers spectacular views of the island, but watch out if you want to go swimming - strong undercurrents can make swimming here dangerous.

We had a taxi driver for the day so we decided to go a Bathsheba on our 1 time in Barbados
and we were so happy to made that choice the west cost drive is breathtaking the drive drop us off at one end of the beach end of the beach and pick us up at the other end took us a little more than an hour ...the walk along the beach is a must do when in Barbados...is great spot for pictures close to the mushroom and other rocks formation u can see a little house on top of one of this rocks and a banch on another but the view from the road or from the hills are impressive is not good to swim becouse the atlantic sea is very strong here and can be dangerous but u can look for surfers that might be there u can get food easy and vendor are there ...there are even shells on the beach

The views were spectacular, I enjoyed the ride and the cook out at my friend Roger's house with his new wife Rachell, baby Masai, David, Khadijah and Darell.

This is our third visit to Barbados and each time we have to visit Bathsheba because it is so beautiful. The village has places to eat, clean toilet facilities, a picnic area and a scenic beach to walk along.

We had a lovely afternoon watching the fishermen, sandpipers and rollers at Bathsheba. Makes an interesting contrast to the upmarket West Coast - recommended

The beach is lovely, the ocean can get a bit rough and as I am not a confident swimmer I wouldn't personally go in the sea, however, for surfers it is a paradise. There are some nice places to visit in the area with spectacular views and it is a really nice day out
