Built in the early 1800’s, the property offers commanding views of the entire Atlantic coast, a unique scenic environment and an undisturbed stretch of beach studded with natural tidal pools located just a one-minute walk down the sand to "Soup Bowl", one of the world's premier surf spots.Round House houses a historic inn featuring four architecturally-unique rooms with unparalleled views, and a bustling restaurant and bar serving Continental Caribbean cuisine with indoor and outdoor seating and some of the best views on the island. With its unique history, great food, friendly people and mellow vibe, Round House is a locals' favourite year-round and the spot frequent travelers to the island return to again and again to be greeted like old friends... with its unique hilltop perch providing a breathtaking panorama of Bathsheba and its pounding surf, it is also a “must-do” part of every first-time visitor's Barbados experience.

“Worth the trip to Bathsheba!”
Reviewed March 20, 2014

We have visited Bathsheba several times over the years, but had never eaten at the Round House, so a group of ten of us went mid March/14. Getting there from the south coast is an experience no one should miss on a blue bus. Hang on! Bathsheba is breathtaking every time, but our lunch was fabulous. There's no sun protection on the outer balcony, so we were inside, with all the shutters open, and the sea air blowing in, with an amazing view. We had a great server, and great service. The food was delicious, and the manager arranged a taxi home for us.
Do not go to Barbados without seeing this area, and The Round House!

“Ok but looks and feels a little tired”
Reviewed March 20, 2014

Maybe it's just the laid back bajan thing but it all felt a little tired. Food was fine I guess. My wife especially enjoyed her fish chowder but after all I had read about this place it was a little disappointing.

The catch of the dish Mako shark was the best fish dish of the week and then I am comparing with Zen, Naru, Tapas, Champers and Fish Pot!

“Exceptional local food”
Reviewed March 14, 2014 via mobile

Stopped for lunch here during a driving tour of Barbados. The food was outstanding, especially the homemade breadfruit chips with hot pepper sauce. The fresh fish was fabulous and the setting, with views straight across the Atlantic Coast of Barbados, is worth the trip alone. Highly recommended.

“Views are worth the trip”
Reviewed March 11, 2014 via mobile

Second time to the Round House, we visited last year and WOW. Walk to the beach and take in the views and surf. The food is great, service is good, hamburgers a must for lunch, excellent salad and the sounds and view of the waves great. The drive is a bit tricky but well worth the time.
