“Views from heaven”
Reviewed February 16, 2017 for a stay in February 2017

The location is breath taking-straight out of the cottage and into highland scenery. The cottage is spacious and comfortable. All are batteries have been recharged in this truly accessible retreat.

“Fantastic”

I booked Mor Carraig due to the reviews on trip adviser and the location being near to Inverness. Brilliant location for all types of activities with young children.
The cottage is well laid out and furnished, with all the convenience of modern appliances. The open fire an added bonus. Nothing like sitting in front of a roaring fire with a wee dram to hand..
We will certainly be looking to book another week here as my kids have had such a great time in such a great place.
Come to Mor Craaig you will not be disappointed.

After staying several times we love the serenity of the cottage and the tranquility it presents. The weather changes frequently over the Loch and this makes for an ever changing picture!

“peaceful setting and wonderful cottage”

Our family spent the week from 26th Sept till 3rd Oct and couldn't have asked for better! The cottage has everything you could possibly need. We were welcomed by a lovely bottle of red wine and shortbread, most welcome! The views, sunrises and sunsets were spectacular, worth the early rise for! Sitting in the conservatory was so relaxing and the log fire in the lounge begged to be lit although we were blessed with wonderful weather. We put bird food out on the birdtable and thoroughly enjoyed watching them feed. Lovely places to visit nearby and further afield. Thoroughly recommend this home.

“Still a Wonderful Place!!”
Reviewed October 18, 2015 for a stay in October 2015

We have been staying at Mor Carraig for over 14 years and this was our 10th visit.
Althought the property has changed ownership in the last couple of years we were really pleased that Paul has maintained the high standards that er were always used to.
It is a great location and we had a great week as normal enjoying the silence and the peace and quiet.
We look forward to our next stay!!

“Perfect ... lovely big cottage in idyllic setting”
Reviewed August 18, 2015 for a stay in August 2015

We had a week in August at Mor Carraig. When we arrived after a long travel each of us was so excited to explore the cottage - and it exceeded all our expectations.
It is big ... and that was important to us, so that we were able to have our own space when we needed it. A big kitchen and a big utility room with plenty of bench space, and everything that you might need, - a huge conservatory with the dining table and a sitting area, - we would meet there to make our plans for where to go each day, and eat together there in an evening. We fed the birds - and they certainly do come to the feeders.
On 3 nights it was damp weather and cooler so we had a fire in the evening and that was a real pleasure - very cosy.
Inverness is only a short drive away and everything we needed we found there. We looked for dolphins at Chanonry Point - we weren't lucky, but many people do see them there. We drove to the Isle of Skye, quite a way but incredible scenery on the way. And we wandered up and down on both sides of Loch Ness - of course we went on a boat trip on the Loch too, all easy and close to Mor Carraig.
