Just back from a super week . Unit 7 was immaculately clean, bright , spacious and with a lovely view across to the jetty and loch.
Both boys took part in a range of activities. Excellent instruction and good value.
Reception were very welcoming and helpful throughout the week. Bar staff were pleasant. The drinking water issue was not a problem . If anything,it added to the feeling of being out "in the wilds"
Looking forward to returning.

this resort is seen as an "active break" by Hoseasons but was only active if there was any staff on site, so dont go thinking that you'll be off on any adventures by yourself as everything involves an instructor. The lodge we stayed in was No.14 we were greeted by the smell of damp as we walked in and by the end of the week everything we owned was damp.the cooking utensils were not enough to cater for a large party and the TV reception was poor to non-existant at the best of times.
The area itself is stunning with some of the best walking trails as the Great Glen Walkway passes right by this location and it makes a great base for seeing fort William,Spean Bridge,Fort Augustus,Inverness and Skye.
When I return to this area I will not be booking these lodges.

Just returned from a weeks break to Great Glen Water Park (14/7 to 21/7) with family of 3 children. I tried to not be influenced by reviews as I really was looking forward to break in a premier lodge. The lodge on arrival from outside required some attention with weeds and a cigar butt outside! On the inside it was clean however was disappointed as it was not as website picture - rather shabby and not what I expected of a £750 holiday and a premier lodge. Unable to drink water and I was given the impression on arrival this was recent - i was however infomed that this has been going on for years and I am now appalled! Facilities - bar had little atmosphere and play park requires extensive upgrading. Pool was inadequate and didnt hold childrens interest for very long. Washing facilities poor - only one washing machine/dryer working and expenive not fit for purpose. Go active activities were good however other water activities were hugely overpriced. Please also note electricity charged separately and to be stung with £33 at the end of a poor break left a bitter aftertaste! The scenery and area is spectacular however for the price this park was severley lacking and I would urge people to give this serious consideration before booking. If upgraded this could be a stunning place.

I booked this short break for my mum as she is going thru chemotherapy and was really worried when I read all the reviews about damp and smelly etc and very nearly did not go, but glad we did.
We stayed at glengarry lodge no.9 which is situated about 5 mins drive away from the main park and it was spotless! No smells, no damp, no mould, could not find fault with anything. There were 4 adults and 1 child and we all managed to shower every morning, cooked breakfast every day and made chicken curry and rice, macaroni cheese and chips for tea with no problems. We used the heaters in the rooms every morning and night and the electricity bill was only £14 from tuesday to saturday. We used the restaurant 1 night and the service was excellent as was
the food and it was also very reasonably priced. The area was lovely and the views were amazing. We visited glenfinnan, culloden, took a boat trip on loch ness , landmark theme park and the steam train from fort william to mallaig.I can honestly say the whole trip was brilliant!! My
mum thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet at the lodges so well done to the staff at the park!!!!!!!!!! YOU DO A BRILLIANT JOB.

Having just returned from a weeks stay all I can say is amazing . Cottage slept 10 and all 5 bedrooms were large and well equipped with storage. Lovely Lounge dinning area with ample seating well equipped kitchen. We paid £55 for gas and elec for week with heating on a lot of time due to 88 yr d in our party and the outdoor hot tub running so hardly expensive.

Plenty to do and see nearby can recommend Browns in Fort William for meal food stunning.

Will say one issue is hundreds of midges who made meals of few of us since found out Avons oh so soft will put the little blighters off.

All in all a brilliant week

we were told not to drink brush teeth with tap water and given bottled water however its hard to get young children to brush properly like that. also bring plenty of repellent the midges ate us alive had 32 bites on the first day. However apart from that its a beautiful place and we had a great time
