“Relaxing stay in Cape San Blas”
Reviewed September 1, 2015 for a stay in August 2015

It was a pleasant stay and we would definitely stay here again. There were just two of us but this townhome sleeps at least six. It was raining when we arrived and it was nice to be able to unload with the cover of the car park. There are lots of great extras like a bottle of wine to greet you, bicycles to use and some beach supplies. There are three decks, which was nice. Two of the decks face a really nice pond that is full of turtles that will swim towards you because apparently people feed them. You can see a small portion of the beach from the master bedroom balcony. It is a short walk to the beach and there is a nice pool on the way that we also enjoyed a couple times. We did bring our own beach cart and that was nice to have to haul everything down to the beach. Note that you are near the timeline and this townhome is on EST. The beach access connected to barrier dunes is one of our favorite portions of the beach in The Forgotten Coast area. We spent most of our time down at the beach. We liked being in a gated community and felt totally safe at all times and most everyone we encountered was very friendly. The townhome had everything we needed and is in a nice and quiet non-touristy area of Florida.

“Relaxing Vacation Getaway”
Reviewed April 20, 2015 for a stay in April 2015

Second week of April at the Barrier Dunes condo was quiet and relaxing. The condo was immaculate and well stocked with all we needed. We enjoyed coffee on the deck and grilling on the screened-in porch at night. Our favorite activity was biking to St. Joseph Peninsula State Park early in the morning for bird watching. The beach was beautiful and went on for miles. No ocean view but easy walk to the beach. We would highly recommend this vacation condo.

Stayed for a week , place felt like home ,everything was set up perfect. Biked to state park everyday , and even biked to trading post for snacks. Beach access is easy and fished from shore and caught a small shark.

Management Response
Aug 1, 2014
I am so glad you enjoyed my home. Since it is my personal vacation home it has many extras for my family as well as my guests to enjoy. People love the fact that 4 adult bikes are provided for the duration of their stay. The 12 mile paved Cape bike trail is fantastic. As you ride you have beautiful views of both the bay and the ocean. Hiking, fishing, birding, horseback riding, beach combing, scalloping, boating, shelling, scalloping, tennis, sunbathing are all within a short distance of my home and for most activities you just walk or bike. Park your car and relax.
