Having walked a stretch of the beautiful coast path this morning we stopped at the Cabin for lunch. On a previous visit we were wowed by their Cornish style beef burgers, which actually means bacon & cheese on top of the home made burger etc etc. so we were really looking forward to our lunch.
The menu was different today, and we chose a Bacon & Goats Cheese salad which was superb, probably the best I have ever had, and a Greek Salad. We had a half and half each, and both agreed that the Goats salad was the absolute winner. The Greek salad was let down by tasteless black olives and no onion at all. We were surprised by this, as there are some wonderful black olives about. However, it was still a very good lunch, and each dish only cost £5.95!
We will definitely be back for more another day!
The setting is wonderful. We sat in the garden overlooking the sea. What more could one want?
