It's a difficult place to find, being set well back from the High Street, down a single lane alley (turn at car showroom). And it's even more difficult to find the small car park behind the building, accessed via a turning further down the High Street and a journey thru some back streets.

But it's well worth the effort. My bedroom was small, but pretty much perfect, with a good size comfortable bed with first class linen sheets, nice size wardrobe, chair & table for writing with full tea making facilities, lovely complementary biscuits & bottled water, and a well designed, bright modern shower/WC. Being based off the High Street has it's advantages, as the room was nice & quiet.

You have to walk outside for about 20 yards to get to the breakfast/restaurant, but the risk of getting rained on is well worthwhile. The restaurant was excellent, with a good choice of freshly cooked food, attentive, friendly service, and a nice ambience. Not cheap, but worth it. The breakfast was good too.

Based on my mid-week visit, it's a place I'd gladly visit again & again.

We booked a room for New Year's Eve
Granted that we weren't actually in the room very long, we thought our room was excellent. We were given a room on the ground floor with a large double bed and a separate single bed. The room was very well fitted out and was very reasonably priced. We had a lovely breakfast in bed the next morning. Nice and quiet all night long. My only criciticism would be that the hotel is set back off the high road and could do with some better signposting.

Room Tip: Trip advisor made me tick every box - this hotel doesn't have a swimming pool or fitness centre.

It is easily missed but the the breakfast was very good< I would suggest fresh juice to make it even better, my husband requested flowers on the table and they were there, peaceful and helpful staff.

I wanted to like this accommodation as I do like the restaurant. But I left after the first night of a 2 night stay. It was small, the bed was hard and their were no full length mirrors. Worst of all it was hot and stuffy with only a very small window which overlooked the kitchen and therefore was very noisy with the fans etc. for the cookers etc. Horrendous if what you want to do is sleep! Modern, clean, but not a fan of walking up the backstairs and letting myself in.

Hotel food was excellent, a delicious breakfast! The room was modern and spotlessly clean but slightly let down as the bed was very uncomfy and a bit small to be classed as a double, it would have been an ideal single size. Hot water was hit and miss in the morning which was a shame as overall the hotel was worth the money and in a great location.

Rooms are clean and comfortable, with all the ammenties you would expect in a chain hotel (wireless internet and flat screen tv) Bathrooms are large, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Best breakfast I have ever had (comes with the price of the room) and the restaurant dinning is excellent!

I have stayed at the Savoro several times and am always pleased with my stay.

Also with in walking distance to the High Barnet station on the Northern Line (tube)

We were passing through on the way to the West Country. Savoro is a very nice place to stay. The rooms are modern and chic. There is everything you need - hotel-wide wi-fi, complimentary tea, coffee, biscuits, shampoo etc, flat screen TV and the bathroom is very modern with a good power shower. There is parking at the back which is a bonus in Barnet ! We stayed one night and had a table at the restaurant. I would seriously advise booking in advance as it is obviously very popular with the locals, and I,m not surprised as the food was excellent. Fresh, local, not over elaborate but really well prepared with a good selection of top quality dishes. The service was also spot on. It was a saturday night and did get very busy and a bit noisy but no more than you would expect with a popular place such as this. The breakfast was absoluetly brilliant. Best poached eggs on toast I have ever had !
Negatives ? The hotel room walls are little thin and you can hear the next door room. Also if you have the window open you can hear the traffic. But you are in a town so I suppose that would be pretty normal. Apart from that I would really recommend Savoro. Good value for money especially near London, and in a good location, and the restaurant is seriously good !
