“Great beach”
Reviewed January 18, 2014

Great beach to enjoy the sun and sand. To watch the sailing ships , nod have lunch at Jack's . You will find a little local hut where you can enjoy cool refreshments at great prices and purchase local souvenirs

Wonderful beach in beautiful surroundings, approximately 3km from the town. But absolutely worth a visit.

“Just Beautiful”
Reviewed November 17, 2013

I can see why this beach is rated in the top 10 in the world, safe for swimming, no rocks or pebbles just sand and clear water, lots of natural shelter from the trees that line the beach, there is a vendor mid way on the beach that sells beers and juice etc very cheap, you can also eat or drink at the famous Jacks Bar. Can get busy if there is a ship in. Good to people watch. Can be reached by water taxi from port, lots of steps if you arrive by road, but worth it, not for the infirm.

“Best beach on Bequia”
Reviewed October 19, 2013

With a long strip of golden sand, fringed by trees, this is the best beach on Bequia. It is only enhanced by Jack's Bar, tucked away at one end. And, as with most beaches on Bequia, there's hardly anyone there!
