Overlooking Amble Bay the accommodation was very smart with everything you could want - home from home. Sitting at the table eating our meals you could see the harbour and Warkworth castle in the background.
Short walk in to village and the numerous bars, most of which did food and even a Tesco and Coop for your needs.
The rooms did get very warm overnight, but easily managed if it gets too hot for you, the kitchen was well set out with plenty of items for six people - including a dishwasher! Took a while to get used to electric cooker.
For a short trip it was very worth while and we went out of season so nice a quiet, not sure what Amble is like in summer when the caravaners all arrive but it's a great base to visit the region.

Great place for our family gathering. Very nicely decorated and comfortable house with lovely views over the bay. Great walks nearby.
This house is wonderful; a proper home from home. This house is idea for fishing. The pier and little shore is out the front door. It decorated very tastefully and very clean. The kitchen was well equipped and there was everything we could wish for and more beside. There is a dishwasher, washer/dryer and a full size fridge freezer all with instructions (which was a god send with the washer!). There was lots of storage in the kitchen for a week shopping. The kitchen has patio doors opening on to a large patio and garden. The garden is secured so fit for children and pets. We was allowed one dog at £15 charge. The lounge was cosy and leading on to dining room with a large table and 6 chairs. The view from this window was astonishing; it was different every morning. There are 3 bedrooms (2 doubles and a twin) and like the rest of the house these was well equipped, with lots of storage for clothes. We had the back bedroom (this over looked the garden) it was en-suit. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. Other members in the group also comment that their beds comfortable too. We found the holiday let was terrific for a starting point to access lots of lovely places Alnwick, Seahouses, Bamburgh Castle and Holy Island. There is a chip shop two streets away that do incredible fish and chips. There is a Saturday car boot and Sunday market on the harbour. There is a meat stall (on a Sunday) that is great value and a fish stall that is much cheaper than the bait shop for fish for bait. The bait shop, coop and Tesco are all within a 5mins walk. We cannot wait to go back.....
