We (two couples) attended the Buxton Charity Ball in 2012 and as a last minute find, we found this guest house and were over the moon (check previous review out.)
This year, we decided to return to the charity ball (with a third couple) and all stay at the Springbank because of how much we loved the place.
Susan is an amazing host, you couldn't ask for anything more.
The rooms are spotless, furnished beautifully and it's situated in an excellent location. Whaley Bridge is stunning. There are places to get lunch/tea, there are antique shops, grocery stores, whatever you need.
There is on street parking available, we were able to park 2 cars fine. There is also a train station less than 2 minutes walk away.
This is an excellent place to stay, 5 out of 5 isn't enough. We are going to come back in 2014 to stay again in the summer for the weekend.
The breakfast is awesome too.
