Everything said in the description was accurate; only one small fault, do not use the drive, there is no turning space and one has to reverse out of a narrow lane with a sharp right angle onto the (albeit) quiet road.
We took our 2 teenage children and dog and could not ask for better; the cottage is well equipped, very comfortable and central to pubs and restaurants. We ate in the Cock and the White Hart, both OK and well priced. The Old Hall Inn nearby and on the Tramway walk was very good as was the Rams Head in Disley. Take away Indian and Chines both very good value and authentic. Walks abound nearby both the easy for dog walkers and the full monty for the adventurous; Manchester is less than an hour by train (best option, as traffic horrid at peak times)
