“Tiny and overpriced”
Reviewed November 4, 2012

The Owls were very well looked after but the customers are not, by the staff. One guy from the Republic was fine, but another local man with a ponytail and glasses was one of the most patronizing people I have ever met. Don't dare ask him a question, the snarl you get back is not worth it. He has more time for his snakes than customers.

Best time to visit would be the summer, as the outdoor animals would actually be out to look at. Seeing 30 odd Owls in boxes is very repetitive.

World of Owls is the only Owl and Bird of Prey sanctuary in Ireland. We are a self funded charity operated by dedicated volunteers. All proceeds going to the animals in our care.
We are now the largest and most diverse collection of owls (amongst other rescued animals) in the UK & Ireland.
At the time of this persons visit our price was £4 which was the lowest admission into any place i knew off and obviously not this visitors cup of tea, maybe having a bad day, we all get them from time to time.
The majority of our reviews cant all be wrong. We are not a well funded shiny zoo we are a down to earth sanctuary where our animals are more than well cared for.

“Well cared for Animals”
Reviewed November 2, 2012

My husband and 2 children had a great wee afternoon here. You just walk around at your lesuire and the exhibits are all titled. The birds are well cared for with clean living accomodation. Then there is the inside animals which consist of different reptiles. There is also a play park for young children and picnic area. Also there is Randalstown Forest besides World of Owls so you could easily spend a day here.
