We spent a long weekend in Hamoir, as it was close to a cycling event that my husband was taking part in, in Aywaille. This is a beautiful B&B. Tastefully decorated throughout, wonderful personal service from the host including restaurant recommendations. Stephan also called the restaurants for us to make the bookings for both nights we were there and the place we went to on the Sunday night (after the 162km bike ride!) was absolutely fabulous - a real hidden gem, that we will definitely return to if we pass through the Ardennes again, along with this B&B
Highly recommended

This is the place where my wife and I stayed while in the Ardennes on vacation from the Us. If you are looking for a place to go to have a refreshing and relaxing time, this is the place stay!! Even if you are just passing thru you owe it to yourself to stay here! Might just be the best place we have ever stayed! Owners are very helpful and very informative on places to visit in the area!

Room Tip: We stayed in the suite on the top floor! TV room, bathroom, big bedroom.

We enjoyed staying at this cute little house with a beautiful backyard for a night. The owners helped us plan a really lovely walk/hike in the Ourthe Valley. Breakfast is not a huge spread, but there are enough options and the homemade jams were a really nice touch. The room was very clean and comfortable and the bathroom unexpectedly modern and nice. We were very glad we had already made a reservation for Saturday night dinner at Le Clos Vieux Mayeur because it was completely full when the owners tried to make a reservation for the guests staying in the other bedroom. My only complaint is that there was no mirror in our bedroom -- I really wish all B&Bs would put a small mirror in every bedroom! :)

We were in Belgium staying at 3 different B&Bs over 9 days, this was our second stop in a small town by a pituresque river. Our room was divine, with crisp white linen in a family home. We had all that we needed for a short stay (no tv in the room but we were too busy exploring Belgium) very comfortable bed, bathroom, refreshments, & a lovely garden.
Fabienne and Stéphane were very welcoming and Stephane's breakfasts provided a substantial start to the day, continental style in the family kitchen/diner.
The fresh flowers in the bedroom and bathroom were lovely and there is an artistic flare throughout their welcoming home.
We really rate good quality decor and a decent shower - 10 out of 10 at this B&B, everything was just fabulous - you need not worry about booking this B&B, it will not disappoint.
The small town has a few restaurants and shops although we did not spend much time there as we were there to watch the Grand Prix, on which Stephane is very knowledgable. The surrounding countryside is a delight to travel through and Belgians are very warm and welcoming. In this area the language is predominantly french and our splattering of French was enough to get by.
I hope we get to return in the future as I would have loved to stay longer.

Room Tip: just two rooms to choose from, one on the first floor and one in the attic, both loely and quiet with their own bathrooms.

A beautiful B&B in a quiet location with lovely hosts. Stephane and Fabienne were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our room was bright, clean and comfortable and the adjoining private bathroom was spacious, with a fantastic shower.
Breakfast was lovely – a good variety, including local produce and fabulous homemade jams – and an opportunity to plan the day with expert advice.
It was our first trip to the Beligian Ardennes and we stayed for 5 nights. Hamoir has lots of facilities and the location is ideal if like us you fancy testing yourself on parts of the route of the Liege-Bastogne-Liege cycle race, or just like exploring nice villages and interesting countryside by foot/bike or car. We spent 3 days exploring on our bicycles and one by car/on foot. Unfortunately the weather was a bit like home (changeable!) but it was September!
Nothing was too much trouble, and our chats with Stephane and Fabienne ensured we made the most of our stay, in terms of places to go (or not to bother with) and in identifying and booking places to eat (all within walking distance). Le Clos Vieux Mayeur on our last night was particularly special.

In summary, we had a very relaxing stay in a beautiful property, in a lovely location and with wonderful hosts, we’d highly recommend it.
